The curriculum at Creative Minds Nursery will ensure that each area of learning and development, as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), is fully met. Each child's personal, social and emotional development will be nurtured and grown, providing them with future skills for life.

Our highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioners draw on their deep understanding of child development supported by the Birth to 5 Matters milestones guidance to carefully track each child’s progress and identify next steps. Their expertise enables them to deliver an engaging and responsive curriculum that prioritises child-led play alongside adult-initiated activities, providing a purposeful framework and challenge tailored to each child’s individual needs, interests, developmental stage and building on their existing knowledge and skills.

We use the Characteristics of Effective Teaching and Learning to understand how children learn best, through playing and exploring, active learning and creating and thinking critically, and tailor our approach accordingly. Our curriculum is flexible and evolves with each child, ensuring learning remains relevant, engaging, and meaningful. Each room adapts the core curriculum to suit their cohort’s age, developmental stage, and life stage, incorporating their own intentions and approaches to make learning personal and engaging.
